Recycled Plastic Ground Reinforcement Systems

Stop press: Free delivery on Hebden 40 ecopaving to mainland UK locations

Made from 100% recycled plastic, the Hebden 40 is the highly durable, eco-friendly alternative surface for permanent and overspill car parks, private driveways, emergency vehicle access lanes, golf buggy paths, helicopter pads, cycle routes, pathways, verge stabilisation and many other uses.

The Hebden 40 is finished with either grass or gravel allowing it to blend unobtrusively into parks, rural areas or heritage sites whilst maintaining extraordinary load bearing capabilities, unlike unsightly asphalt or block paving.

Its modular grid system makes it easy to fit and allows rainwater to filter back to the water table, making it perfect for incorporating into SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) strategies.

Features and Benefits of the Hebden 40

Feature Benefit
Made from 100% recycled polythene (UV stabilised HDPE) This means that it's as durable as it is eco-friendly
High permeability This means that the Hebden 40 avoids rainwater run-off into drains and sewers, allowing it to return to the water table. This helps avoid the urban "heat island" effect and makes it perfect for SUDS strategies
Can be finished with grass or gravel This makes the Hebden 40 much more aesthetically pleasing than ugly tarmac or block paving
Great strength (over 250 tons per metre2) This means that the Hebden 40 can support all vehicle types
The Hebden 40 has been designed to accept the thermal expansion of the plastic without lifting at the joints Without this feature on warm days the Hebden 40 would lift at the joints allowing earth to slip underneath preventing it from going back level and killing the grass in the process.
Frost and high UV resistance This means that the Hebden 40 will last for many years
Great flexibility This means that the Hebden 40 can easily be laid on an undulating surface
Light weight This means that it is easily transported, resulting in less CO2 emissions than for the conventional alternatives
Modular system This means that the Hebden 40 can quickly be laid at a rate of 75m2 per person per hour

Applications

The Hebden 40 is suitable for a wide range of applications, some of which we've listed below, but we're sure that its flexibility and its strength will cope with many other uses we're yet to think of!
